The decision to frame was based on frustration; "I have been served very well by commercial framers in the past, but for many years have hankered after the ability to make my own frames. I view the frame as an integral part of the artistic process and, too often, the cost of framing has determined the choice of frame".

 

So, the specialised equipment; an industry standard Morso guillotine, an Alfamachine underpinner, and a mount cutting facility, was purchased and the world of framing opened up new artistic possibilities and complimentary moulding and mounting options.

This facility is primarily for Anthony's own work, but occasionally work is framed for other artists.
